  • Payment information: Processed securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers.
  • Technical data: Browser type, device information, page performance, and usage analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and improve the MomentClip video analysis service.
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • Send service-related communications (account updates, billing).
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve the product.

3. Third-Party Services

MomentClip uses the following third-party services that may process your data:

  • Clerk - Authentication and user management.
  • Stripe - Payment processing (PCI-compliant).
  • Convex - Backend data storage and real-time functionality.
  • Google Gemini - AI-powered video analysis (YouTube video data is processed for clip discovery).
  • Vercel - Hosting and anonymized analytics.
  • PostHog - Site performance and product usage analytics.
  • Cloudflare - CDN, media processing, and storage.

4. Data Retention

Video analysis data is retained while your account is active. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at contact@momentclip.com.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure authentication, and PCI-compliant payment processing. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. Vercel Analytics does not use tracking cookies. PostHog stores an analytics identifier in browser storage to measure visits and feature usage. We link that identifier to your account ID when you sign in. For operational failures, we send the YouTube video URL, the action, and an error category to PostHog. We do not send search text or transcript content to PostHog.

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of your data.
  • Export your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent for data processing.

8. Children's Privacy

MomentClip is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
